Why it is important to know your rights

Picture
When we are born we are born with a sense of being - just who we are. Yet we cannot do one darn thing for our selves but sleep, smile, or cry and observe. We cry when hungry or needing changed from a soiled diaper. And we some how have a sense of needing to belong. We cry when our smiles are not reciprocated; when not fed, when not held because we are scared and lonely and when we are soiled. It is sad that the very basics of life need laws to provoke the ones who should be taking care of us to do just that. Most parents or guardians are loving, kind and appreciate the life being of the new born person who just entered into this world. However, there are others who are neglectful, some who are caught up in their own pain and do not have life skills to care, and still there are others who are monsters who look like people. For these the laws were written. If you do not know your rights and the laws afforded to you, you will not be able to exercise them and hold the responsible parties accountable. It is that simple. At some point there will come a time when you are responsible for your own care and perhaps at some point the care of others as well. Knowledge is freedom. Knowledge is power. Wisdom is protection. If you are not aware, informed and knowledgeable you will not know how to act appropriately, nor what directions to follow or take, nor decisions or course of actions to take. Your freedom begins with knowledge.

Learn your rights. Keep your self educated and informed. Follow through judiciously with your decisions and course of action. It is your responsibility when you come of age to maintain your freedoms and to help give voice and protection to those who are not equipped or who have not the physical capability until they are able. You can and will do this. We will together. We are survivors. We are free survivors helping our brothers and sisters who are survivors still in captivity fighting that the whole family of survivors have their freedom to live in their "Eden".
